About Our Company
Crabtree South Africa makes electrical wiring accessories: switches, sockets, cover plates, plugs, adaptors, extension cords and PVC cable management. It opened in South Africa in 1947 and makes and assembles its products in Wadeville, Germiston and in Maseru, Lesotho, with help from small local suppliers in Gauteng. Its products carry the SABS mark or are SABS approved, and it sells through a national network of wholesalers and exports to SADC countries. Since 2025 it has been owned by Dimako Holdings (Pty) Ltd, a South African industrial investor.
