About Our Company
Liebherr-Africa has served the construction, civil engineering and mining industries in South Africa since 1958. From its head office in Springs it sells Liebherr construction machines, mining equipment, cranes and material handling equipment, and backs them with service and spare parts. Branches in Cape Town, Durban, Richards Bay, Brits and Middelburg, a site at Sishen Mine in Kathu, plus agencies and depots, cover South Africa and neighbouring countries. Its Springs workshop builds mining excavator buckets and finished its 100th bucket in December 2024.
