Switchboard Services is a Pretoria based electrical, control and instrumentation company in Rosslyn that designs, manufactures, installs and commissions its own equipment, so clients deal with one team from first drawing to handover. Its speciality is motor control centres, control panels, PLC panels, relay logic panels, distribution boards and power factor correction panels, built and wired in its own manufacturing workshop. It also converts 6 m and 12 m shipping containers into fully equipped substations and control rooms, and its own construction team installs cable racking, cabling, area lighting, plant earthing and field instrumentation on site. The main focus is the mining, metals and minerals industry, with turnkey EC&I packages that include professionally signed off detail design and PLC and SCADA software engineering.
